Jakarta, Aug 2 (IANS) Indonesian President Joko Widodo opened the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum here on Tuesday, urging the Muslim community to use their fundamental powers to tackle global economy.
Speaking at the Jakarta Convention Centre, President Widodo said the Muslim community had the best demographic figures, apparently dominated by youths when compared to other communities, Xinhua news agency reported.
“The age average of Muslim youths across the world was 23 years with the median age recorded at 30 years,” President Widodo told leaders of several countries attending the event.
Widodo said the Muslim community also sees the vibrant development of Sharia financial industry which is now worth of millions of dollars.
Despite those compelling facts, the Indonesian president said the world’s Muslim community faced challenges from high unemployment rates and poor capability to boost their competitiveness.
The opening ceremony was attended by Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, Guinea President Alpha Conde and Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickemenshinghe.
The president of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Ahmad Mohamed Ali, was also present.
The event will run until Thursday with the participation of more than 2,500 delegates from 69 countries.

DO YOU KNOW WHY MOST OF ISLAMIC COUNTIES ARE POVERTY ?
The main reason is that most of Islamic scholars around the world have been teaching the false hadith.
Islamic scholars have to take responsibility of poverty.
Often we heart from most Muslim Scholars that a poor Muslim will enter Paradise faster than a rich Muslim. They follow the false Hadith as following;
( 1 ) The Messenger of Allah saw that in heaven it most people are poor , while in hell most women . Muslim – Bukhary .
( 2). Prophet prayed to Allah , ” O Allah make me a poor man and I turn off the poverty ” HR.Muslim .
( 3 ) . Prophet prayed to Allah , ” O Allah make me a poor man and I turn off the poverty ” HR.Muslim .
( 4)” People – the poor will enter paradise 500 years earlier than people – the rich ” ( ” Sahih Hadith ” , from Abu Hurai
It seems to us that Imam Muslim Bukhari (Idols) encourage Muslim to be poor instead of wealth or rich.
WHEREAS Allah n Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) encouraged Muslims to live in wealth n luxury as Allah n Prophet say in His Books Bible and Al Quran as following;
It is We who have placed you with authority on earth, and provided you therein with means for the fulfilment of your life: Little give ye thanks ! QS 7;10.
Allah has provided everything to believer from the sea and earth in order people can live in wealth not in poverty. But only few people who grateful to Allah. Most of them are lazy to work for Allah almighty because they are following their idols such as imam Muslim Bukhari etc. through the book of Hadith.
“But seek, with that (wealth) which Allâh has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion of lawful enjoyment in this world i.e (women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle, well-tilled land and beautiful house. etc) , and do good as Allâh has been good to you, and seek not mischief in the land. Verily, Allâh likes not the Mufsidûn (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupters).QS 28; 77, QS 3;14.
And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ORNAMENTS to WEAR. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty and that you may be grateful. QS 16; 14
And We sent down iron ( Gold, Silver, Oil, Gas etc) in which there is strong power, and benefits for the people(make people life prosperous ) and (We did it) so that Allah knows the one who helps Him and His messengers without seeing (Him). Surely Allah is Strong, Mighty. QS 57;25
“Be sure that the book of law is always read in your worship.Study it day and night,and make sure that you obey everything written in it.Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshuo;1:8-9
Those who love GOD inherit wealth and those who fear GOD prolong his life. Prover.
Wise(taqwa) People live in wealth and luxury, but stupid people spend money as fast as they get it. Proverb 21;20.
Happy are those who obey God’ laws,who live by His commands. Your work will provide for your needs; you will be happy and prosperous.Your wife will be like vine in your home,and your sons will be like young olive trees around your table.A man who obeys God will surely be blessed like this. Psalms 128:1
ALLAH and Muhammad saw said;
(And Allah’s Message is): “If they (the pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance. QS 72;16.
Saying `Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving; (10) “`He will send rain to you in abundance; `Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you Gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water).QS.. 71; 10-12.
And it is also revealed to me) that if they (the people of Makkah) had stood firm on the (right) way, We would have supplied water to them in abundance,(prosperous) QS 76: 16.
Those who have believed and have been fearful of Allah. (63) For them there is the good news ( paradise ) in the worldly life and in the paradise on Hereafter: there is no change in the words of Allah.That is the great achievement. QS 10;64.
Based on Allah’s verses above, Allah want His people wealth or rich, or prosperous not live in poverty. In order to achieve the goal Allah command His people to follow all His rules rightly n completely.
So in order to get paradise Hereafter, he should get paradise in this world first.
Muslim who successful to get paradise in this world will get paradise Hereafter for sure.
Conversely, Muslim who does not get Paradise in this world will not get Jannah Hereafter for sure, except if Allah’s wills.
Those who does not believe Allah but they still can get Paradise in this world, but they can not get Paradise Hereafter. Allah will cast them to Hell.
