independent.co.uk: Saudi Arabia has reportedly responded to the growing number of people fleeing the Middle East for western Europe – by offering to build 200 mosques in Germany.
Syria’s richer Gulf neighbours have been accused of not doing their fair share in the humanitarian crisis, with Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the UAE also keeping their doors firmly shut to asylum-seekers.
According to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, which quoted a report in the Lebanese newspaper Al Diyar, Saudi Arabia would build one mosque for every 100 refugees who entered Germany in extraordinary numbers last weekend.
It would be unfair to suggest that the Gulf Arab states have done nothing to help the estimated four million Syrians who have fled their country since the start of the conflict in 2011.
Just this week, the al Hayat newspaper reported that 500,000 Syrians had found homes in Saudi Arabia since the civil war began – as workers, not refugees.

Yes. That is Saudi Arabia! As if the turmoil they have created and are continuing in the Arab world is not yet sufficient and now they want to export their terrorist Islam in Germany.
If Saudi ever cared about the Arab world, they should have prevented all the conflict from even starting. But instead it is Saudi Arabia who is the exporter of terrorism because they continue to preach and live the way of Madoodi.
Madoodi’s brand of Islam is violence and that is what has created ISIS. These madoodian brand of Islam is what has and is been exported by Saudi Arabia wherever they build a mosque.
The refugees don’t need mosques for now, what they need is shelter and security.
The root cause of all these conflicts in the middle east is the establishment of Israel in the Arab world and the preferential treatment it is shown. And the Palestinian land was sold to the British for the establishment of Israel by a Saudi King called sultan Abd’al Aziz bin Abd’al Rehman Ahle Saud about 75 years ago. This problem was created by the Saudis themselves. They are the betrayers of the Arab cause.
Germany should be well aware of the help they should receive from Saudi Arabia. Why did the refugees not opt for Saudi Arabia? Why did Saudi Arabia not announce their willingness to receive them when the flow started? They are hypocrites.
There is something fishy about this help.
