Where the Foreign Fighters for IS Are Coming From?

At least 20,000 fighters have travelled to Syria and Iraq over the course of the recent conflicts in the two countries, according to a recently updated report by the International Center for the Study of Radicalization and Political Violence. In response, many countries have passed laws making it illegal to travel to fight in a foreign conflict or, even more specifically, making it illegal to join the Islamic State.
