Imam Shamshad Nasir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community’s Baitul Jamey mosque, Glen Ellyn, recently met the members of Sierra Leone in a city Tinley park IL, one and half hour Drive from Baitul Jamey, in a residence of Dr and Mrs Koroma.

The General Secretary of SL community Mr Ibrahim welcomed the Imam and requested him to address the members there.

Thanking everybody for their generosity, Imam Nasir mentioned the services of Jamaat in their country (Sierra Leone) in the field of health and education where he was fortunate to serve as a Missionary from 1982-1986.

After briefing upon the history of the Ahmadiyya Mission in Sierra Leone, Imam Nasir welcomed all members here to Masjid Baitul Jamey in Chicago for their spiritual needs and help with organizing functions, and asked to send their children for Sunday classes, etc.

Imam Nasir also put forward the idea that the Chicago chapter would be glad join to their celebrations of the Sierra Leone Independence day.

Presedent of Sierra Leoneon community and Members thanked him and welcomed the idea and assured him their cooperation. The meeting ended with silent prayer lead by Imam Nasir.
