  1. Jimmy Carter is one of the greatest presidents the United States of America ever have. As a champion of human rights, Jimmy Carter imparted significant contributions to the World Peace. He always stands by the principles. He courageously deplored the terrible oppressions of the Palestinian people at the hands of Israelis. The treaty of peace between Egypt and Israel and the Camp David Accord, Panama Canal treaties and the SALT II treaty with the erstwhile Soviet Union – all are some of his significant Foreign Policy achievements of his administration. It was his administration who initiated the establishment of U.S. diplomatic relationship with China, which was described as the world’s most important bilateral relationship of the century He founded the Carter Center in 1982 in an effort to resolve international conflicts, alleviate human suffering and promote democracy and human rights . He always opposed his successors unilateral war against sovereign states. It has also engaged in conflict mediation in many countries in Africa and Asia. The 2002 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to him.
