The police officer executed by gunmen in a street outside the office of Charlie Hebdo in Paris was a Muslim.
The story of Merabet’s confrontation with the Paris terrorists is turning out to be one of the most poignant in the whole affair.
And it’s proof, if further proof were needed, that Muslims are much more frequently the victims of Islamic terrorism than Westerners are. According to the Global Terrorism Index, 80% of all the deaths from terrorism in 2013 were in Muslim-majority countries Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Syria.
Since 2000, only 5% of all deaths from terrorism have been in developed countries — although they have been among the deadliest.
France is adopting Merabet, 42, as a hero. French Twitter is filled with tributes to Merabet, under the #JeSuisAhmed hashtag. Merabet had been a cop for eight years and had just qualified to become a detective, The Guardian says. He had a girlfriend.
Merabet is the officer seen in the heartbreaking video of the shooters’ attack on the Charlie Hebdo office, as seen through a mobile phone from across the street.
The worst part of the video — aside from the moment in which the gunmen finish him off with a shot to the head — is where Merabet, lying injured on the pavement, tries to raise his arms in surrender. He is clearly no threat to the gunmen. And they kill him anyway.
What the video doesn’t show is that as the shooters got out of their car, Merabet had already responded to the scene. He had his weapon drawn and was preparing to face the terrorists, according to The Guardian.
Here’s what happened next.
Be warned: The following images are graphic and upsetting. But they are worth seeing for two reasons.
First, people ought to have a realistic idea of just how brutal Islamic terrorists are. (They aren’t “fighting” anyone. They’re just killing people.)
And second, because it shows Merabet doing his best in an impossible situation. Overwhelmed by superior firepower, he lies injured but alive on the sidewalk, and he tries to convince his attackers that they don’t need to keep killing.
The gunmen emerge from their car. The shooter on the right raises his rifle and begins firing at Merabet.
Merabet will be buried in the Bobigny cemetery near Paris.
About 7,000 Muslims are buried there.

It has been a long time since I have not visited your pages, and it seems so many things happened and even changed into worse, specially last days by events in Paris, and violence of 12 members and journalists of Charlie Hebdo Magazine.
I was born in Moslem family , growing in different parts of former Yugoslavia,traveled all round the Europe since I was born until now days majority of my childhood I have spent with Catholic children, teachers, neighbors, and even my mother’s later husband was Catholic, Military Navy High Officer. As soon as i remember, and it was almost 40 years ago when I moved from my birth place , Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia, I never had any problem with other religious directly. What were their educational and background base , that is something I cannot judge about, but as all civilized people and nations in a country where President Tito united all nations of former Yugoslavia and taught us and showed the whole World how different people, not can live, but MUST AND LEARN EASILY hoe to live together.
In schools we learned about all religions with all respect, like ordinary lessons in History that happened 3 millions years ago. We used to send greetings and visit our friends of different reliogious on their Religious holidays, Christmas, New Years , Bayram, Easters , Pesah and so on. / In my country live together Moslems, Catholics, Orthodox , Jews , and other nationality minorities like Italians, Slovenians, Macedonians, Arabs from Diplomatic core orders, and many World wide embassies staffs, Diplomats with theirs families and relatives.//
As a mere fact, even in my country there were several very dangerous and sad attacks on American Embassy security guard- but there was an unsatisfied and maybe ill person with his own reason and conviction that he is doing a right thing, so he decided to shoot to American Embassy building in the middle of the working hours, in the very middle of The Capital center, Sarajevo, few years ago. He was arrested and now taken to prison , punished for a certain Legally subscribed period of time.
But these what had happened in Paris, the Capital of France, for me, one of the most beautiful country after Italy and Switzerland and Germany show us that education methods, developing attitude methods at home , within the family and in the School, through media, left on the lowest lowest level and it took people to think wrong, to act wrong, to provoke those also with not so much education and attitude to do wrong and as a result we have here almost war conditions and a beginning of paranoia which will soon get into all segments of diplomatic and social life and make such a mess that people would start to scare of each other. Do we need that? Certainly not?
There are , like in medicine, so many directions to make and follow anamnesis of such events, but firstly let us go backward into generation of persons who have done Pictures of Mohammad the prophet Sallaahu aleihi we sellem and WHY? What journalist of Charlie Hebdo know about Mohammad Islamic first man?? What kind of schools they have completed and what was their knowledge about their neighbors , Algeria and other from South part of Europe over Gibraltar pass ? WHAT WAS THE INTENTION TO MAKE LAUGH OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT HUMOR THAT NONE MAKE LAUGH AT ALL?Was that a clothes thy they did not like, or beard. First of all, my dear French nation, your journalist have , MUST know that there is no photo remembered by Mohammad SallaLahu Aleihi we selem, God bless him and hiss family. None knows how he looked like and what he was wearing. On the base of imagination it is more than a crime , ethical crime to make people laugh about such important and delicate issue that World is fearing of since 11 th September. Are children, almost children journalist, or even worse if they were experienced and older GOING TO DESTROY THE Peace whose establishing in all Regions of the World costs a lot, a lot of money and human lives???!!!
This is really shame and more than that!!
SECONDLY , THOSE WHO MADE MURDER AND VIOLENCE ABOVE CHARLIE Hebdon Magazine, were provoked, and everyone would be so if , for example I made funny photo of Jesus Christ’ WHAT FOR??!! What is so funny for an person suffered in History of Religion and sacrificed that badly , killed on the Cross, is there anything there to laugh about? No, certainly no. This is a base of all religions to know main actors, historical leaders and their meaning in an Religion, and the main rule to know and learn forever: NEVER MAKE FUN ABOUT ANYBODIES BELIEF AND FEELINGS!! i BELIEVE ,EVEN IMBECILES AND NON DEVELOPED NATIONS , THOSE ON THE LOWEST LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT UNDERSTAND THAT!!
Dear French people, your educational System and parents of your journalists are mainly guilty for what happened!!
What did the expect? The rest of the World to laugh with Charlie Hebdo? Very primitive.
Thirdly, I am not a lawyer of murderers, I do not know how to repeat their names, but the whole World must know that making economical crisis and producing over unemployment produce and very bad thing , and that is a way to keep apart young people from their families in order to find a job, as their father cannot earn more than he does, as their mother does not work, as his, or her friend has better life than they do, as they need to steel to have better life and so on.. THAT very important issue, for my point of view , the most important should be solved by Monetary Systems World wide, and if nothing, to ” print”, yes to print money and give it to people through different ways of scholarships and other ways, to make mankind health and able to fulfill it’s needs as they have been grown due to millions and billions of different advertisements and commercials every day on each corner and each page of all magazines. People cannot buy what they have been taught they need!!!! Is that clear!! So any Mohammad s.a.w.s. Photo will not bring money, that will bring death, as this is not a way, or that was an desperate way how to get money to pay bills and food for Charlie Hebdo Journal!!
Fourthly, In my country, as in many other as well, I believe, there are hundreds of unemployed or ill, very sick mentally ill persons from the military field, who maybe lost a job, or they become retired or wounded on the front lines, and lately disabled to work normally: such people, of all nations, as afar as I was also invited by the error and by the chance: Military retired officer sent me 10 years ago an invitation to join to an military campus in Afghanistan for training!!!! He was jobless, retired, lost his family, so that was his only chance to survive. Only God Knows who joined him, who went with him and was educated by his doctrine for some little money maybe to survive, or for nothing. For empty promises that those young , invited people would become experts in an Army, That man was an American, for example.. So, even this example shows us, that all Branches in the World and their Headquarters have, must take care of their employees until they die, healthy, ill, killed, and also give a chance ti their families to live an dignified life. The only place I knew where people used such HIGHLY ORGANIZED LIFE WAS MY COUNTRY, the Former Social Federation of Republic of Yugoslavia. Unfortunately, even such a strong country, the fifth powerful Military County in Europe has been destroyed 1990, by specific methods of those who did not like to see and join , follow the style of people whos destinies were supposed be living and human kind life.
I believe, the whole World shall learn a lesson, very hard lesson, and I also believe start to learn it , not wait next day and next chance to laugh to persons of Religion of the most powerful of the World.

Government and PRESIDENCY of the Republic of France,
As the whole World and the Holy See in Popes Francis speech of 15th January 2015 agreed that both sides, French journalists and their murder executives in a sad event of the beginning of 2015 year, were guilty for , on the one side for non respect and provoking by writing and publishing photos of Muhammad the Prophet, and provoked an Islamic group members to make, on the other side, an terrible murderer in order to stop such trend of publishing against Islam, and hurting their feelings and their religion’s the most important leader;

I express my sincere condolence to all mentioned about the death of all of the actors of an sad day in Paris, January 2015.
