Inaccurate copies of Qur’an to be removed from holy mosques

arabnews.com: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance has instructed officials to remove all copies of Qur’an with mistakes from the two holy mosques, said Minister Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh on Wednesday.
Al-Asheikh said the ministry recently discovered that traders and philanthropists had unwittingly brought copies of these Qur’ans into the country. He said they were under the mistaken impression that all Qur’ans printed around the world have no mistakes.
During his speech at the conference, Printing the Qur’an: Between Hope and Reality, in Madinah, Al-Asheikh said the ministry had identified errors in several verses in these copies. He said officials were instructed to remove these copies from the two holy mosques.
