The oldest Muslim Group in Japan, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community which resides here since 4th June 1935, participated in the 21st Tokyo International Book Fair 2014 with the theme of “Japanese Nation is searching for an Excellent religion”

The Book Fair was officially inaugurated by Prince Akishinomiya, on 2nd July 2014. From 4th of July the Book Fair was opened for the public and it closed on 5th of July at 6pm, with a huge success and interest of people.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Japan had also displayed various books in different languages such as Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, English and Persian, and Roll-UP banners containing the history of the oldest Muslim Organization in Japan, some historical photographs sayings from the Holy Quran on various subjects, such as ‘world peace’, ‘socio-economic peace’, ‘interfaith harmony and cooperation’, ‘universality of Prophethood’, ‘justice’, ‘women’s rights’, etc.

The Community also officially launched the Japanese translation of several books such as:
“Our God”
“Life of Muhammad”
“Introduction ot The Study of The Holy Quran”
“Muslim Festivals and Ceremonies”

Thousands of people from all walks of life including professors, academics, journalists and politicians visited our book stall.

Mr. Anees Ahmad Nadeem Missionary Incharge Japan explained how Islam is a peaceful religion.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan was founded in 1935. It’s a reformist movement that believes the messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. The community believes God sent Ahmad to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstate morality, justice and peace.

Mr. Najeebullah Ayaz, Mr.Hizqeel Ahamd, Mirza Muazzam Baig, Mr Achmad Fathureham, Mr.Muhammad Ismatullah, Mr.Umer Ahmad Dar, Mr.Ather Ahmad Dar and some other young Ahmadi Muslims had healthy discussions and communication with more than 5 thousand people and were successful in clearing common misconceptions about Islam and about our beloved prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

Several people recorded their impressions and sent email messages after visiting our stall.

May Allah make our efforts fruitful by showing the right path to all these people who are earnestly searching for the True Path of Life, Ameen.
