Motorcycle involved in the fatal crash
An motorcyclist has died after a motorcycle crash in Maple, Vaughan, York police say.
The single-vehicle crash happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday on Teston Road just west of Highway 400. The victim, a 31-year-old man, was airlifted to the hospital.
York police said the man lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree. Roads in the area were closed for hours while police investigated.
