Hopes are Alive

Source: Balkan Insight:

The only signs of hope have been seen in the responses of ordinary people, who have banded together in an attempt to ensure each other’s survival. Their parents may have been on different sides in wartime, but young people from Tuzla went out to the villages to work to alleviate the disaster together. Muhamed, Ante, Marko – this time they all fought side-by-side, building flood defences on the Sava River.

Extremely encouraging to hear the acts of mutual cooperation by new generation. Future remains bright if all work hand to hand together. Hope lesson learnt by this natural calamity will pave the way for broader harmony among different ethnicity.
