Fiji: Coca-Cola Games Torch relay visits Ahmadiyya Muslim College at Narere

HISTORY was created at the Ahmadiyya Muslim College yesterday after the Coca-Cola Games Torch visited the school in Narere for the first time.

The torch started its Fiji tour yesterday at Nasinu Secondary School, visiting schools along the Suva-Nausori corridor.

Ahmadiyya Muslim College will have three athletes participating in the annual secondary schools athletics meet at the ANZ Stadium in Laucala on April 25 and 26.

College principal Premila Kumar said it was an exciting day for them to witness an important event associated with the Games.

Athlete Lui Mailau, who will participate in the junior 100 metres event, said he was looking forward to his first Coca-Cola Games.
