The conferences, taking place in several U.S. cities, will take place in the St. Charles Room on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m.
The conference is designed to combat terrorist and anti-Islam beliefs by teaching attendees about the Prophet Muhammad from the perspective of American Muslims. It is part of a campaign to promote interfaith dialogue and understanding.
Founded in 1889, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a reformist movement in Islam distinguished by the belief that the second coming of Jesus of Nazareth came in the form of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of India.
