LONDON: The British parliament has for the first time ever pulled up its revered Queen for failing to control her expenses.
In what is the first such report into royal finances brought out by the Committee of Public Accounts, the British monarch Queen Elizabeth II has been openly asked to keep a closer eye on how her money is being spent. The Committee has concluded that the Queen’s “household spent more than it took in”.
