By the grace of Almighty Allah, We the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Mangalore unit had put up a very successful 58 days stall at National Consumer Fair Exhibition at Karavali Utsav Ground, Mangalore from 14 Sept 2013 to 10 Nov 2013.
It was planned all of a sudden just two days before Exhibition commenced. Prayers of Huzur (atba), Allah’s divine blessings and team work of the Jamaat members made it possible to happen, Alhamdulillah.
On 14th Sept 2013, Saturday our stall was inaugurated by Moulana Muhammad Kaleem Khan Saheb, Muballigh Incharge, South Zone Karnataka. The inaugural function was attended by the local Jamaat president Janab Muhammad Yusuf Saheb, local Muallim Asif Saheb, Local Qaid Riyaz Ahmad Saheb and other members. The Jamaat presidents and members of Manjeshwar and Mogral were also present.
Mangalore is a multi-religious and multilingual coastal city in Karnataka. People in and around Mangalore speak more than seven languages. In the Book-Stall, translations of Holy Qur’an in 44 languages were exhibited. English, Kannada, Urdu, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu books were kept for sale. Pamphlets in these languages were freely distributed.
More than 2 lakh people visited the Exhibition and about 50 thousand people visited our Stall to whom we conveyed the Message of Islam and Ahmadiyyat.
We had healthy discussions with more than 5 thousand people and were successful in clearing their misconceptions about the Jamaat. Several people recorded their impressions after visiting the stall.
There were some heated discussions with some persons whose intention were to shut down our stall. But by the Grace of Allah and owing to the prayers of Hadrat Khalifatul Masih the Enemies of Ahmadiyya Jamaat could not carry out their inimical designs. The book-stall ran for the entire period of 58 days without any hindrance. Alhamdulillah.
After reading our books, many people revisited our stall for further discussion.
We came to know that many discussions were being held at many centers outside, about us. SMS`s were sent out warning not to visit our stall !! Many came to check out due to this, had healthy discussion with us, cleared their doubts and they gave impressive feedback.
A large banner of Huzur(atba) Addressing UK Jalsa Salana was exhibited at the entrance of the Book-Stall, attracted the attention of the people and they inquired about it to get further information.
A banner announcing “Mahdi Imam has appeared in accordance with the Prophecy of the Holy Prophet” was exhibited at the stall also drew the serious attention of the people and they began to discuss about it. Glorious teachings of the Holy Quran were exhibited in several banners attracted both Muslims and Non-Muslims.
The Zonal Qaid, Janab Musaddiq Ahmad Saheb visited the stall and expressed his happiness & congratulated the Khadims for their efforts. Umair Ahmad Siddeeq, District Qaid of Kannur Zone, Kerala also visited the Stall.
During the book stall, Kannada version of the book “Was Ahmadi Jamaat planted by the British?” was released by the local Jamaat President Janab Muhammad Yusuf Saheb in the presence of Janab Shahid Badruddin Saheb, Secretary Dawat-e-Ilallah, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, South Zone Karnataka.
Books worth of Rs.1,42,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Forty Two Thousand) were sold.
In Kannada alone, about 180 Holy Quran and more than 300 “Life of Muhammad(s.a)” books sold out.
About 50,000 Pamphlets, mainly including Peace folders of Huzoor(atba), Holy Prophet Muhammad(saw), Advent of Mehdi Imam(as), Ahmadiyya Muslims beliefs, etc. in several languages were freely distributed.
To set this grand Book-Stall, several members have volunteered their services and supported financially as well. All the Khuddam and Ansar brothers worked really hard throughout the two months tenure at the stall, Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless them for their sacrifices, Ameen
Book-stall was a grand success owing to the Blessings of Allah and prayers of Huzur(atba). We humbly request you to pray for the Mangalore Jamaat to organize many more such events and to succeed. May Allah enable us to offer more services in the path of Allah. May Allah make our efforts successful in spreading the message of Islam and Ahmadiyyat to the people of this area… Ameen.

Running a Tabligue Stall for 58 days is no small task, especially by a handful of Volunteers.
Allah is really Great, for his support.
Great achievement by the youth wing of Mangalore Jamath! Although small in numbers, they succeeded in running the show for nearly two months, thereby spreading the message of Islam Ahmadiyath to thousands of people. Their efforts is indeed laudable. Kudos to President Yusuf Sb., Abdus Salaam, Riyaz Ahmed, Mv. Asif Khadim, Abdul Rasheed, Saleem Ahmed, Vinish Rasheed and Luqman Ahmed whose yeomen service has made it possible. Wake up Mangalore – we are coming….
