Ahmadi Muslim Women organize Qur’an Exhibition in Alberta

A month long Quran Exhibition at the Red Deer Public Library , Alberta was organized by Lajna Imā’Illah Calgary NW, the branch of Lajna Imaillah Canada to promote better understanding of the peaceful teachings of Islam.

Canada -where Interfaith harmony is respected not persecuted.

The exhibition ran from Sat, Sep 28 – Sat, Oct 26, 2013. There were copies of translation of the Holy Qur’an in 13 different languages, books on teachings of Islam Ahmadiyyat, life of the Holy Prophet (saw), women in Islam, other topics of interest and flyers.

Hundreds of visitors visited the exhibition over this one month period. Many visitors stopped at the displays, expressed their interest and appreciated the efforts to remove misunderstandings among religions. Some of them asked questions and took the free literature.

Copies of the Holy Qur’an and other books were given free of cost to those who wished to explore further.

The event concluded with a presentation on “Introduction to Islam” and a Question/Answer session.
