The Prophet’s life explained with modern techniques in Mecca

Muslims going to the holy city of Mecca, in Saudi Arabia, to fulfill their hajj pilgrimage duties are being greeted with a very nice surprise. A museum dedicated to explaining the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) is portraying his life and teaching using virtual simulations.

The exhibition is so popular that places need to be booked before visiting.

160 scholars who have worked together on this project will also have a TV channel up and running after the hajj season passes. They also plan to establish a university.

The museum, found on the road to Taif, has an exhibition about the universe and creation at its entrance. It also contains information about Allah, the Qur’an and Hadith (traditions and teachings of the Prophet).

Inside the museum, a variety information regarding the aspects about the Prophet’s life can be found, including information about his male, female and child companions, his immediate family, his family tree, his manners, his physical appearance, his property, his running of state affairs and the places he lived and visited.

The current minister of religious affairs in Turkey Mehmet Gormez, the former minister Ali Bardakoglu and the mayor of Istanbul Kadir Topbas are among the visitors to the museum.
