Amir Trawally called on individual philanthropists and other humanitarian agencies to take part in such ventures noting that government alone cannot do it . Trawally also used the occasion to pray for the affected families for God’s protection against future emergencies. He also hailed the degree of stability in The Gambia an prayed for continued peace in the country. He reminded the gathering that some parts of the world are equally hit by disasters, but could not get immediate assistance due to instability.
