the holy prophet preached spiritual, intellectual and physical jihad. the spiritual and intellectual jihad is applied in alll circumstances. however the jihad of defending yourself and the believers from oppression is used as last resort if diplomacy fails.
may i ask the alleged hadith quoted by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in which hadith literature is it recorded in?
“By the One who owns my soul, it is nigh, of a certainty that the son of Mary will appear among you. He will be a judge, he will be just; so he will break the cross, kill the swine and he will stop war.” (Bukhari, Vol. 1, Babo Nozooli Isa)
With a slight variation at another place it reads:
Remember, he shall be my Caliph after me to my people. Remember, he will vanquish Anti-Christ, break the Cross (with argument), abolish the taking of Jizya (tax collected from defeated people), as there would no longer be any war.
