Author Gary J. Bass’s ‘The Blood Telegram: Nixon, Kissinger and a forgotten genocide’ is due for release on Tuesday. The book throws new light on the genocide carried out by the Pakistan army in erstwhile East Pakistan and the compulsions of the principal players, the United States, India and Pakistan.
