Putin a hypocrite with blood on his hands?

The Muslim Times’ has added a question mark at the end of the title.

There he goes again — Russian President Vladimir Putin, portraying himself as the world’s champion of peace and democracy. And, of course, doing it at America’s expense.

This time, Putin’s PR machine managed to get him an op-ed in The New York Times, just in time for the start of talks in Geneva, Switzerland, over a plan to dismantle Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal. The column is so filled with hypocrisy, inaccuracies and even veiled threats that it’s hard to know where to begin.

Putin chastises the United States, which has stumbled badly in Syria, for considering an attack because a strike “will result in more innocent victims and escalation.” It could, he warns, “unleash a new wave of terrorism.” He forgets to mention that tens of thousands of innocent victims in Syria have already died at the hands of President Bashar al-Assad’s forces, which are armed, supported and supplied by Moscow.

  1. Hypocrisy Is Abound!

Our Splendid Planet is abound wth hypocrites in Public Life. But THE ALMIGHTY – The Most Wise – The Most Powerful – knows best.

The Media’s responsibility is to submit The Truth to the Public, and let the latter be judgemental. Otherwise, the homo-sapiens might fall into the abyss of hate, and continual rancour.

The all-important question is: What does The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate mean to Barack Obama?

  2. America at the Crossroad!

The tine is nigh whereby The Americans (the People of America) will take heed of America’s (Pentagon and Washington) Foreign Policies as clearly enunciated by J William Fulbright (1905-1995) nearly five decades ago: ” For the most part America has made good use of her blessings, especially in her internal life but also in her foreign relations. Having done so much and succeeded as well, America is now at that historical point at which a great nation is in danger of losing its perspective on what is within the realm of its power and what is beyond it. Other great nations, reaching this critical juncture, have aspired to too much, and by over-extension of effort have declined and then fallen.” J William Fulbright’s book “The Arrogance of Power” was published in 1966. He was The Chairman of the U S Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. That was VIETNAM, now it’s THE MIDDLE EAST

In his speech in April 1967, Martin Luther King Jr. said: ” The Nobel Peace Prize was also a commission to work harder than I had ever worked before for the brotherhood of Man.” The following year he was cynically eliminated because he spoke of ” a time comes when silence is betrayal.”

Sadly, very sadly indeed, The Muslim World is still embroiled in its Centuries Old Internecine. But, THE ALMIGHTY – The Most Gracious, The Most Beneficent, The Most Wise, The Most Powerful, The Giver of Intellect – certifies explicitly in The Noble Qur’an: ” You have indeed in The Apostle of GOD the most excellent example.”
I wish you all Peace, La Paix, Shalom and Salaam

  3. Three nations I have always held the most mysterious are Chinese, Russians and Japanese. You never know what they have in their minds until words are uttered.

May Allah the almighty enfold these people in Islam soon Ameen.
