We’ve all gotten to this point where we think terrorism is the horrible death of some thousands of people,” says Ungar. “No — that’s what sets off terrorism. Terrorism is forcing an entire people to wake up afraid every day.”
“We can’t just say that terrorism is a Muslim problem that requires a Muslim solution. Certainly we in the Muslim community are trying to attack the ideology that these people stand on to make that crumble as their platform so they have no Islamic basis for this,” says Zafar.
