Alhamdulillah A very very successful “Peace Symposium” was held on 21-04-2013 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Wing of Odisha State in India. It was held at Swosti Premium Hotel’s conference hall in the state’s capital, Bhubaneswar. Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha Sri Naveen Kumar Patnaik, his excellency the Governor of Odisha SC Jamir, Prasanna Kumar Patsani (MP), Devi Mishra (Minister, state Govt.), ex-vice chancellor of Utkal University ( the most reputed university of the state), Swami Chidanand Saraswati (Chief of Divine Life Society, India) & many other dignitaries participated in the event. Both the Chief Minister & the Governor praised the humanitarian contributions done by the Ahmadiyya youths in different fields to promote world peace. The book “World Crisis and Pathway to Peace” (A Book containing the letters having guidance how to contribute efforts in establishing world peace, written and sent to top world leaders by the present Khalifat-ul-Masih ) was launched in the state by the honorable Chief Minister during the event.Media coverage of the event was covered by almost all leading daily news papers/TV Channels of the state.
