Tableeghi Trip to Chitradurga: Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Bengaluru’s (India) Platinum Jubilee Program

Here’s a report of a nice program conducted by the Khuddams of Bangalore Jamaat as part of the Platinum Jubilee of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya.

The city of Chitradurga also known as the ‘Fort City’ is situated 200 kms from Bangalore. Ahmadiyyat was established about a 10 years ago in this region. Today the Rayana Halli Circle near Chitradurga has 8 Jamaats with more than 1000 members in total.

The Ahmadis in this region face a lot of opposition from other Muslim groups especially the Tablighi Jamaat, who use various methods to pull them back in to their fold. They try to lure the Ahmadis by building Mosques and providing other facilities and constantly try to intimidate them.

But the Wakfee-ne-Zindegee Mualims are doing good work in terms of educating the followers especially the younger members under severe living conditions (shortage of infrastructure, water and electricity) and constant Muqalifat from opponents.

On 30th and 31st of March a team of about 8 members of Bangalore Jamaat in 2 vehicles drove a total of above 600 kms to reach the Rayana Halli Circle near Chitradurga, to meet, mingle, organize Jalsas and distribute Cloths to the members there.

Refurbished clothes were collected from members of Bangalore Jamaat and were distributed to above 600 members in the Rayana Halli Jamaats.

Rayana Halli – About 15KM from Chitradurga is the place where Circle Incharge stays and from where all Jamaat activities in the region are monitored. It has a beautiful small Mosque where the Jamaat conducts the programs and prayers.

The visiting team had meetings with the officials from Local Panchayat, who help the Jamaat in all respect as the Jamaat maintains good relationship with them. They appreciated the effort of the community in the area.

The Team then drove 70 KM from to Nandi Biur where there was an Aameen and Bismilla programs organized for the children.

Later traveled to Chikgonadana Halli about 30 KM from Raynalli where the Jamaat has a small facility from where it conducts Programs and Prayers.

Next the Team travelled 170 kms to meet members of Hebbal/Toddali/Kagnoor/GoniKor who had gathered there. A Jalsa was conducted with all Wakfee-ne-Zindegee Mubalighs, Mualims, Sadr Jamaat along with Khuddam, Ansars and Atfal.

Even non-Ahmadi local members and teachers joined the program and praised AHMADIYYAT and assured that such initiatives would build cohesion in society. They also made suggestions to conduct inter-Faith meetings with people of other Religions in the region.

The 2 days trip of the team from Bangalore was very exhaustive but very fruitful in many aspects.

Request everyone to pray for all the members of our Jamaat in this region especially for the younger generation to be more fruitful and beneficial in the progress of the Jamaat. Also please remember the Wakfee-ne-Zindegee Mualims and Mubalighs in this area who are living in tough conditions and face constant Muqalifat. May Allah bless them and strengthen them.
