ZONAL CONFERENCE AND PEACE SYMPOSIUM
Chennai, India: The Zonal Conference and the Peace Symposium of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’ath, Tamilnadu -North Zone was held at Chennai Hall on 10 th February 2013. The Inaugural Session session started with the recitation of the Holy Quran at 10.30 A.M. The Zonal Ameer Janab M.Basharath Ahmad Sahib presided the function. Inspite of opposition from the Mullahs, the Police gave full protection to conduct the events. It was a successful event. Three T.V.Channels covered the event and flashed in the news. News appeared in News Papers also.
A Documentary was shown to the V.I.P’s and audience in a big screen about the various activities of the Community. The Mayor of Chennai and the V.I.P Guests watched the documentary before the Peace Symposium.
PEACE SYMPOSIUM : The peace Symposium started at 5.00 P.M.
The Mayor of Chennai City Honourable SAIDAI DURAISAMY felicitated the Peace Symposium with his presence. The Member of Legislative Assembly of Tamilnadu Mr.V.P.Kalairajan also participated.
The Ameer of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’ath, Chennai Janab M.BASHARATH AHMAD presided the Peace Symposium.
The Arch Bishop of Mylapore, Chennai Mr. CHINNAPPA spoke on Human Values in Christianity.
The Tamilnadu Hindu Monk Council President SWAMY SADA SIVANANDA spoke on Human Values in Hinduism
The General Secretary of Sri Gurunanak Sat Sang Sabha Mr. BALBIR SINGH LOTA spoke on Human Values in Sikkism.The President of the Tamilnadu Writers and Book Publishers Association Mr. M.Chandrasekaran spoke on Human Values.
