The 61st Annual Jalsa Salana of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria which was held between December 21st and 23rd 2012 was blessed by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) through his gracious and kind message of Peace, Prayers, Hope and Divine instructions. The three page message was read at the first session of the Jalsa Salana anchored by the Amir of Nigeria, Dr. Mashhud Adenrele Fashola after the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and Qaseedah. Hudhur’s message traces the history of Ahmadiyya Worldwide Jalsa Salana linkrf with the divine dispensations of Hadhrat Imam-uz-Zamaan (peace be on him); through it Nigeria Jama’at was congratulated for having her Jalsa Salana as an extension of the First ever Jalsa Salana that held in 1891.
Members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria are charged by the message of the Khalifah not to relent in their efforts on Tabligh, prayers and Trust in God. The message is full of the expectations of the Promised Messiah, peace be on him, from every follower of his; and that their attachment with the Khilafat should never detach but to continue waxing stronger.

Though, I am presently one of Ghana’s members and I hope our own Jalsa is in the pipeline. Being a nigerian I was very happy to hear news like this. May God Almighty Allah be with our beloved Khalifah in all his endevour and grant all entire Jamaat protection throughout the world. Amiiiiiiin.
