The above caption is the title given to the column dedicated to Hahdrat Khalifatul Masih V’s Friday Sermons on a National Daily called NATIONAL MIRROR in Nigeria. The paper reaches almost all parts of Nigeria everyday also carrying the the message of Khalifatul Masih to corners of Nigeria in print every Friday, and of course, also, ‘to the corners of the earth,’ as was the prophecy more than a hundred years ago, to the Messiah of our age, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Today’s Friday sermon is based on incidents from the lives of some companions of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). Arab Ahmadis in particular request discourses on incidents of the companions. While each incident raises awareness about the devotion, sincerity, sense of sacrifice and endurance which these companions experienced after taking Bai’at, it is also a source of gleaning information about the blessed life of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace).
Regardless of the nature of the subject under discussion or a particular incident, the excellent deportment of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) shines through and the ambience of his assemblies is understood.
These companions are a model for us in this age and are the direct and true recipients of: ‘And among others from among them who have not yet joined them.’ (62:4). The incidents of the companions are a significant and exemplary model for their families as well as a source of advancement in the faith of every new Ahmadi.
The main thing is purity of intention. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) indeed said that his books should be read with purity of intent.
Those who read his books and then raise objection over them have grubby mentality.
Even the Qur’an states about itself that only the pure will understand it, as such what chance do other books have! Rehmat sahib was a 17 or 18 year old at the time when he saw the spiritual light of the Promised Messiah’s (on whom be peace) face his heart compelled him that this could not be the face of a liar and wondered why the maulwis created doubts.
Later, he witnessed a debate between the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) and Maulwi Muhammad Hussein Batalwi. He also read the book ‘Izala Auham’ which he found to be replete with light and guidance.
After reading the book he could not sleep all night and wept. Meanwhile, his love and ardour grew.
The maulwi replied that Rehmat sahib had been influenced and that he would pray for him. Rehmat sahib responded to him by saying that the maulwi should pray for himself.

I am so pleased to know it.I lived most of my childhood in Nigeria. As my parents lived there.
The have very simple and pure hearts in some matters. Whatever Nigerians may do, they to my knowledge never adulterated food.
Even now I can know them, whenever I meet any African here, when they speak that they are from Nigeria. it is their polite and friendly gesture.

@ Algazar—/If there are few people who run a big bussiness in Ahmadiyaa like Trump, Bilgate etc —Ahmadiyyah do not need to ask money from Ahmadiyyah members.
The wealthy Ahmadiyyah can finance all cost for “dakwa” Islam around the world.
Prophet Muhammad NEVER ask FOR MONEY OR REWARD to convey Islamic teaching or “dakwah” from his followers as Allah say in Al Quran:
GOD’S WARNING
Obey those who ask no reward of you (for themselves), and who have themselves received Guidance. QS 36;(21)
“No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: (109) “So fear Allah and obey me.”QS 26; (110)
Those were the (prophets) who received Allah’s guidance: Follow the guidance they received; Say: “No reward for this do I ask of you: this is no less than a Message for the nations.” QS 6;(90)
That is why I urge Ahmadiyya to strengthen economy in order Ahmadiyaa can funance its self.

Somi: you have a point in saying that wealth in this life can be beneficial, however, to donate something for the cause of Allah is good for everyone, rich and poor alike. Consequently even if rich people can donate a lot we should not discontinue that poor people with their humble donations should obtain Allah’s favours also.
