Amir and Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Germany, Mr Abdullah Wagishauser misses no chance of adventurism. Be it swimming, mountaineering, cycling, running or taking part in marathons. Even at the age of 62 plus physically he is more fit than any youngster of 25 to 30 years of age. Recently one athlete of Ghana Jamaat challenged him to compete in running along the seaside in Accra. After 30 minutes the the Ghanaian Athlete exhausted and declared the stamina of Amir of Germany as unmatchable.
For forthcoming Jalsa Salana UK, Amir of Germany is leading a group of cyclists to Hadeeqatul Mehdi, two native German Ahmadies Mr Hammad Haerter and Stefan Haerter along with group of Majlis Khuddamul Ahamdiyya of Germany are accompanying him in this historical journey to UK. This time they call it speedy cycling and will cover 200 km distance per day. Historical journey started from border town Achen of Germany on 04.09.2012. After making night stay in the pitched self made open site tents at Brussels, the group is now on roads to cross the English Channel tonight and plan to reach Hadeeqatul Mehdi by Thursday 06th of September-2012. (Inshallah)
I remember, in Pakistan cycling was favourite hobby of Ahamdiyya youth. Many used to travel to Rabwah from all over Pakistan. It is heartening to note that this old tradition of cycle tour is being remembered by Ahamdiyya Community Germany and its head himself is at fore front to keep it alive. From my side, from editorial team and readers of Muslim Time we wish the Amir of Germany and his group a successful tour to UK. May Allah be protector of all of them and enable the group to enjoy the UK Jalsa both spiritually as well physically. Amin.

Amir of Germany Mr Abdullah Wagishauser with Hammad, Stefan and other members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Germany ready to cycle from Brussles on 05.09.2012.
Have a nice, blessed and safe journey
