Eid celebrated with great fervor in Haryana

The festival of Eid was celebrated in the city with great enthusiasm. Muslim brothers and members of other social organizations greeted each other by rubbing shoulders with each other. The process of distribution of eidi ensued. Muslim brothers offered their prayers at Lal Mosque, Noorani Mosque and Sheesha Mosque and prayed for peace and prosperity. After the Namaz, the process of ‘dawat’ ensued.

Muslims started to gather around 7:30 AM at the Noorani Mosque located at the Jind road. Imam of the mosque Maulana Tayyab Hussain expressed that eid is the happiest day after Ramzan fasting. He urged muslims to earn their livelihood in the virtuous way and to help maintain peace and mutual brotherhood.

On the other hand, devotees started to gather at the Lal Mosque situated at the Qila road at 8 AM. The numbers swelled at the time of prayer. Some of the devotees had to offer their prayers at the road adjoining the mosque, as the space in the multistoried mosque was not enough. Imam of the mosque, Syed Muhammad Taslim sb. Prayed for peace and prosperity. Many other muslim brothers offered their prayers in the Sheesha Mosque too.

Ahmadiyya Muslim community from Lakhan Majra offered eid prayers too. Circle in-charge Ejaz Ahmed Sagar said that the community has offered its prayers in the villages namely Farmana, Titauli, Baland, Nandal and Lakhan Manjra in the Rohtak district.
