When watching the News on Television or reading the News in the Newspapers we should pay special attention to what is NOT written in the Newspaper.

Did you notice what was NOT written in the Newspaper or did NOT come on the TV News when the capital city Tripoli in Libya was ‘liberated’ from pro-Ghaddafi forces?

There was no looting. Not like in Baghdad during its ‘liberation’ in 2003. Like in any oil-rich city Tripoli has its share of high class high cost brand shops (I do not even recall all the names, and do not want to, but I am told they are all there). Not a single shop was looted during the ‘lawless’ time. In fact in all of Libya there are still more or less ‘lawless’ times as the police men went home, not sure whether they are still welcome in the streets. (only some traffic police are still around).

Let’s hope and pray it stays that way…
