I could have added it to my earlier article about the Swiss boy’s journey to Islam, as it was a short journey onward to Ahmadiyyat: the True Islam.
The first issue of the Holy Quran in German translation that I read was from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Switzerland. The address was stamped on the copy of the Quran, as the Mission had donated it to the Library.
I wrote to the Mission that I had to return the copy of the Quran to the Library and asked them to send me one. I wrote that I was 15 years old and did not have any money and that I would pay ‘sometime in the future.’ Of course they were happy to send me a copy.
Shortly after this I went to England for one year and physically met a Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community only after I came back to Switzerland. He then explained the Ahmadiyya Muslim teachings.
My initial reaction was that ‘I am just a Muslim.’ Later on however I realized that in fact there was no such thing as just a Muslim. The non-Ahmadi Muslims themselves are split into many groups. Consequently, whether we like it or not, we do have to study the differences a bit more.
The first reaction when hearing that Jesus went to Kashmir and died there was ‘that was a bit far to walk in those days’. However, when confronted with the alternative: Jesus did not die, went somewhere far behind the moon and is waiting there until Allah will order him back to this world with the same body. Well, walking to Kashmir 2000 years ago is nothing compared to space travel.
And the teachings of Ahmadiyyat are just logical. Let’s go back to what I said before: “The Jews said that God spoke to us and 3000 years ago he stopped. The Christians said that God spoke to us and 2000 years ago he stopped.” Well, the Muslims say that Allah spoke to us but 1400 years ago he stopped. It is just not logical. Allah has spoken to us since the beginning of time. Why should he stop now? Consequently the teachings of Imam Mahdi as a confirmation of what the Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace be on him) taught us is just logical. And the blessings continue with the Khilafat! Alhamdo lillahe rabbil alameen. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

God is not dumb how He will not continue communicating with us? If He stops speaking with us then we are finished. May Allah guide us.
