A piece of Arabia in the middle of the economic zone Genin: The slim, white minaret rises above the white dome of the Mosque. As the 2000 square meter large piece of land is slightly lower than its surroundings the Mosque is only visible when one stands just near it. “For us it is a dream come true” says Farid Ahmed, spokesman of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. “The Mosque is wonderful”.

He stands on the plastered surroundings, on the edge flowers bloom, newly planted. The construction of the 400 square meter large Mosque took two years. Cost: nearly 600’000 Euro, all financed by private donations, says spokesperson Mohammad Dawood Majoka.
