The Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, will be opening the first Mosque in Nidda, the Bait-ul-Aman-Mosque, on 20th June at 17.15 hours.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad is the 5th Khalifa of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC) and enjoys the largest following in the organized Islamic world. The AMC is present in over 195 countries of the world and with 30’000 registered members is also one of the largest groups in Germany.
The first Mosques in post-war Germany were constructed in 1957 and 1959 in Hamburg and Frankfurt by the AMC. Of the approx. 130 Mosques with a minaret in Germany 35 belong to the AMC. According to the teachings of the founder of the community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the AMC would like to teach the peaceful and progressive teachings of Islam and liberate it from errors of the present time. The AMC beliefs in the basic human rights, supports freedom of religion and thought, including the freedom to change ones religion.
So simple and beautifull is the new mosque in Nidda, Germany. The message in front of the mosque is also a simple and beautifull, Frieden (Peace).
