The Muslim population in the Middle East and North Africa region is expected to grow by 37 per cent in the next 20 years, while the world’s Muslim population is expected to increase by about 35 per cent in the same period.
Meanwhile, among the Muslim majority countries of the world, the UAE is projected to stand at the second position after Kuwait in the highest life expectancy rate, which is 78 years. It would jump up to 80 years by 2030-2035. This was stated by Dr Brian Grim, senior researcher and director of cross-national data, Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, here in the Capital on Tuesday evening at the Shangri La hotel.
Tabah Foundation organised a symposium to announce details of the ‘Future of the Global Muslim Population’ report, a comprehensive demographic study that provides up to date estimates of Muslims around the world in 2010 and project the growth until 2030.

Given the new demographics, one would hope that Christians rather than trying to stereotype all Muslims into a box of terrorism or violence, will genuinely examine different traditions or sects in Islam and consider some of them as a good way to theism; especially in this age of information as the vulnerability of the text of the Bible and dogma of Christianity is becoming increasingly well known.
