“Create a great & unlimited treasure in Heaven of your prayers”, Imam Nasir

By Syed Shamshad Nasir, Detroit

Whole world is facing great crisis today, everyone is in fear and restless. Everyone looks helpless and uneasy because of this pandemic Coronavirus.
In most of the countries, cities and towns are in lock-down. People are not allowed to go out for their jobs and business. Schools, colleges and universities also closed. States have advised and announced to stay home for 2-3 weeks.
Even places of worships are closed. In this regard Muslims are saying their 5 times daily prayers at home. Therefore let us all remember these things, which Holy Prophet
Allah will have Mercy upon the one whose heart is in the Masjid. When your intention is to come to Masjid but you can’t come, you will have your full reward with Allah like you are saying your prayers  in the Masjid itself.
2) As long as this condition is remained and you can’t come to Masjid, please offer all salats at home with family in congregation.  And please don’t combine salats (Zohar and Asr, Maghrib and Esha) – kindly offer all Namaz on fixed time.
Spend more time with children and teach them Islamic traditions and prayers.
After Maghrib till Esha help them to memorize some chapters of the Holy Quran, some prayers of the Holy prophet
3) Fill your home with Zikr e Ilahi, Darood and Istaghfar.
The case of a house in which Allah is remembered, and of one in which Allah is not remembered is like that of the living and the dead.
4) Holy prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم also said :
One who will recite/ read this prayer morning and evening 3-3 times, nothing will harm him.
5) Allah listens prayers and supplications all the times but there is time mentioned by Holy Prophet  صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, when Allah listens more, Hazoor صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, said :
A servant of Allah is closer to Him during Sajdah, therefore multiply your prayers in prostration, it also means that offer Nawafal.
6) The Promised Messiah peace be on him said about prayers and supplications:
With Dua every thing become easy, each difficultly becomes easy with supplications.
Again Hazoor (as) says:
As fish can’t survive without water same way believer can’t survive without Dua, and the best Dua is Namaaz.
7) On the sad demise of Hazrat Maseeh Maud (peace be on him) Hazrat Amman Jan RZ advised her children in these words:
Dear children! Do not think that your Abba Jan didn’t leave any thing for you in the house. He left a great Treasure of Prayers for you in the Heaven.
This is the time to occupy/engage and keep ourselves busy in creating such great treasures in the heaven for ourselves and for our children. May Allah make us to do so, Aamin
