UK: Regional Councillor Rupinder Kaur joins Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Wolverhampton’s Litter Pick Program

Beginning a year fresh and clean, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association was extremely grateful towards the local councillor for their region, Rupinder Kaur, who came out in the cold on the 1st to support their Ahmadi brothers; she was accompanied by a Paul Rider, a local community outreach ambassador, who is extremely passionate about litter on his streets. He kept saying: “Let’s make Britain clean again,” we are thankful to all those that supported us on the 1st of January.

It is becoming a popular tradition for Ahmadi Muslims to start cleaning their streets after the morning prayer, fajr, they usually have the streets spotless before sunrise, however, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Wolverhampton decided to be unique and hold the session at 2 o’clock, so that community ambassadors and councillors could attend, the local news repaper also covered this on that very day.
