Muslim headscarf debate divides France, in climate of hate

PARIS (AP) — When a French official disrupted a regional council meeting to demand that a Muslim woman accompanying a group of schoolchildren be ordered to remove her headscarf, “in the name of our secular principles,” her own child buried his head in her shoulder and cried.

The scene — too toxic even for official Julian Odoul’s far-right National Rally party — triggered a venomous national debate that is scrambling questions over the headscarf, Islam, immigration and radicalization.

The clamor reached a crescendo with the shooting and wounding Monday of two Muslims outside a mosque in southwest France by a suspect with past links to the anti-immigration National Rally. 1. I completely agree with Zia’s tweet. We must remember that nuns also wear a covering over their heads. It proves their chastity and modesty. It’s very upsetting when we see that these people hate on a religion that is only following the true teaching of God. This topic has come up in numerous amounts of holy scriptures. Now, who are we to take away this teaching, it’s very wrong.

  2. “In the name of our secular principles”? This has become a joke now, waiving the flag of secularism in face of anything different than you and forcing self made rules over others, rules that are filled with hatred and discrimination is not only against any teachings of any Prophet, but against basic common sense and humanity.

They follow Christianity? It is said in the Holy Bible: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” (John 13:34)

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in his Farewell Sermon : “As God has made you one brotherhood, so be not divided. An Arab has no superiority over a non Arab, nor a non Arab over an Arab; nor is a white one to be preferred to a dark one, nor a dark one to a white one. ”

Crushing someone else’s freedom is bond to crush the society.

May God have mercy on them and open up their hearts, minds and souls to the Truth, kindness and love.

Love for all, Hatred for none.
