JAI Manislor Distributes 3,000 Qurban Meat Packages After Slaughtering 9 Cows and 149 Goats

KUNINGAN (MASS) – The Ahmadiyah Muslim Congregation or the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI) Manislor slaughtered 9 cows and 149 goats as sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, Wednesday (27/5/2026).

The Eid al-Adha procession at JAI Manislor proceeded solemnly. Eid prayers were held at the An-Nur Mosque. In the sermon, the congregation was reminded that the greatest lesson of the sacrifice lies not merely in the slaughter.

The greatest lesson, the congregation was reminded, lies in the readiness of the heart to sacrifice what is loved in order to gain the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala (sincerity). This value is relevant for every Muslim in every era.

Following the Eid prayers, the event continued with the slaughter of sacrificial animals, carried out collaboratively by a committee comprised of congregation members. This year, members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Congregation in Manislor sacrificed nine cows and 149 goats, distributing approximately 3,000 bags of sacrificial meat.

Distribution is carried out to local residents, people in need, and various parties without differentiating between religious backgrounds or groups.

The organizing committee chairman, Nedi Nendra, stated that this year’s Qurbani program demonstrated the members’ spirit of sharing and dedication to the community. The entire process, from Eid prayers to the distribution of the sacrificial meat, was carried out in an orderly, equitable, and targeted manner.

“The Eid al-Adha celebrations at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Congregation in Manislor reflect the values ​​of peace, tolerance, and social concern that are continuously maintained,” he said.

Through the spirit of sacrifice, Nendra continued, the congregation hopes to strengthen social harmony and build a peaceful and inclusive life amidst diversity.

Through this celebration, said Nendra, the entire congregation is encouraged to become individuals who are more sincere, caring and obedient to Allah Ta’ala as a concrete manifestation of the meaning of sacrifice. (eki)
