By the grace of Allah Wolverhampton Jamaat arranged a big Outreach function / event on the evening of 17th June, 2017, Saturday, at Bait-ul-Atta Mosque and Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Centre, Wolverhampton, to remember Jo Cox; murdered MP and to remember the Ahmadiyya Muslims who were killed in Lahore attack in the Mosque and very successful vigil prayers for the victims of Manchester & London terror attacks.

The programme was attended by 40-50 distinguished guests and prominent dignitaries including; Elias Mattu, Mayor of W-ton City Council, Deputy Mayor of W-ton City Council (Councillor Phil Page), Eleanor Smith; newly elected MP for W-ton South West, Maj Andy Johnson from the 11 Signal Army branch and several other local councillors other prominent dignitaries, faith leaders and neigbours.

The main aim of the event was to unite communities rich, poor, religious and non religious to share our Ahmadiyya Muslim stance against hatred and extremism.

The evening commenced with recitations of holy Quran followed up by english translations, 1 minute silent prayers, speeches and poems about peace.

On that eveing we were luck to have brother Nadeem Ahmad a survivor from Lahore attack to narrate the real story what happened.

This also was to raise the eye brow of non muslim guests who were thinking that the terrorists are killing only non Muslims.

The programme ended by silent prayers, guest pack donations which included life of holy prophet saw, pathway to peace and leaflets united against extremism and special complimentary dinner.
