JERUSALEM: Israel on Sunday summoned representatives of states that supported a UN resolution demanding it halt settlement activity, while cutting civilian coordination with Palestinians by way of rebuke.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said that the 14 envoys of UN Security Council members will visit the ministry in Jerusalem throughout the day. The US envoy was also summoned.
Israel’s prime minister said he will do “all it takes” to ensure Israel is unscathed by the resolution.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already ordered several retaliatory steps against countries that supported the resolution. He told his Cabinet on Sunday that Israel was looking into a “plan of action” against the UN.
The Council passed the measure Friday after the United States abstained, enabling the adoption of the first resolution since 1979 to condemn Israel over its settlement policy.

  1. ‘You naughty boys’ ‘don’t you know that it is a crime in New York to criticize Israel’? ‘I will get you kicked out of New York’ ‘I will sue you all’
