Ahmadiyya Women Group To Meet On National Peace, Order In Abuja

The Ahmadiyya women group, Lajnal Immaillah, women between the ages of 15 to upwards are holding the 100 years commemoration annual Islamic conference in Abuja from 26th to 28thAugust 2016 at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Dutse Alhaji, Along Bwari Road Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

The theme centenary conference is 100 Years of Ahmadiyya: The True Message of Islam to be declared open by the Amir Sahib, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Dr. Mashhud Adenrele Fashola to be assisted by the (Deputy Head) Naib Amir North Dr Yakeen Habeeb. Other topics for discussion at the conference include The Role Of Women In National Peace and Order, 100 years of  Ahmadiyya in Nigeria, Crucial and Demanding Roles Consolidation and  Expansion.

Other programmes for the three day events are Quranic, cooking/handcraft competitions, Marriage and counselling Talk, sports and entertainment, special exhibition on contributions of the women group to the 100 years anniversary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Nigeria.

Prominent Islamic women leaders across country have been invited including Hajia Amina Zakari, National Commissioner Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Head Quarters Maitama Abuja; Hajia Queensley Segosimhe, Coordinating Director Compliance Support Group Federal Inland Revenue Service; Hajia Faosat Ogunniyi, Director Tax Audit Federal Inland Revenues; and Hajia Lara Shuaibu, Director of Technical Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja

The wives of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives Mrs Dogara and Hajia Lasun; Hajia Salamatu G. Ibrahim, Director Finance INEC Head Quarter Maitama Abuja are expected at the event .

Others are Alhaja Saadatu Duduyemi Chairperson, Women Advisory Council, Ansarudeen Maitama; HajiaTawakaltu Muse, Secretary, Women Advisory Committee Ansarudeen Islamic Society, Maitama; Hajia Mariam Adamu, Director at the Federal Capital Muslim Pilgrimage Board Abuja; Professor Wasilat Abdulrahman, Dean Faculty of Science, University of Abuja.

Also in the list to great the Centenary Celebration include Professor Fatima Shuaib, Director, Directorate of Guidance and Counselling, Nasarawa University; Mrs Musa Dikko, First Lady, Bwari Area Council Secretary.
