Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been named to Time magazine’s prestigious list of the 100 most influential people in the world, joining a wide range of international leaders, artists, scientists, activists and athletes.

Trudeau was included on the list in Time’s Leaders category, alongside the likes of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Barack Obama and several candidates for the U.S. presidential election.

Canadian and “Saturday Night Live” mogul Lorne Michaels penned a glowing piece on Trudeau for Time, saying: “I believe he will be a force for good.”
