Islamic scholars cautions Govt over Ahmadiya’s conference
Rising Kashmir News
Srinagar:
Kashmir based Islamic scholars have sharply reacted to the reports that Ahmadiyya Jama’at Srinagar has sought permission from district magistrate to hold a “Peace Symposium at SKICC”, on October 10 and cautioned the government not to allow any such event to be held.
Noted Islamic scholar Mufti Nazir Ahmed Qasmi on Sunday said holding of such an event would be intolerable. “This should not happen at all. Mirzai people are expunged from Islam. They are not Muslims,” Mufti Nazir said.
He said allowing such people to hold the function would give Ahamdiyas a platform to lure convert Muslims to their religion. “They should not be given any such chance to meet their nefarious designs,” he said adding any such attempt would have far reaching consequences.
Moulana Syed Arshad Hussain Nadvi in his message the holy city of Makkah said the plan to host the Ahmadiya conference in Srinagar was nothing but Fitna, which aims are creating chaos among Muslims. “They are deceiving the people. How dare they use name of Islam when courts world over have declared them non-Muslims,” Moulana Nadvi said.
“They are using Muslim names in disguise. This is hypocrisy. And this Fitna seems to be aiming at making the Muslims fight each other,” Moulana Nadvi cautioned.
He asked the government not to allow any such anti-Islamic event be held.
Another religious organisation-International Khatam-e-Nabovat Movement also appealed the government not to allow a seminar which will disturb the peace and tranquillity of the state. In a statement issued today, chairman Moulana Mohammad Amin said the community has been anonymously declared as non muslims and the seminar is aimed to disturb the already disturbed environment of the state.

Do these ‘Islamic Scholars’ have so little self – confidence in their own arguments?

Good question brother Rafiq in your first comment.
Let’s hope that Kushmeer police is not as biased as Pakistani Punjab police.Let’s hope CID in that sensitive region is honest and trustworthy.
Dr. Shumaila Khan, I believe this is NOT Pakistani Kashmir, but the Indian one.
Therefore, all those Pakistani like arguments against our Jama’at’s peace conference will, hopefully not be valid.
Anyway, as brother Rafiq has mentioned, these so-called ‘scholars’, seem to be very afraid of their followers becoming Ahmadis. I wonder why…?!
Also, I would suggest a very interesting booklet that the Promised Messiah wrote about and for them, called, ‘A Gift for An-Nadwa’. These ‘scholars’ should read it.
And if the majority of the world’s Muslims have ganged up against us, it does not necessarily mean that the majority is right. As an example, when Islam first started, the majority was steeped in ignorance and were non-Muslims. So, did that fact, make them right?
I know this is Indian held Kashmir, but unfortunately CID,and police are the same on both sides. We hope justice prevail Insha,Allah.
