Ama City International Association invited Imam Anees Ahmad Nadeem & other members of Ahmadiyya Muslim community Japan to give a lecture about “the reality of Islam “.
The seminar, which attracted about 75 people, was held in the Ama City Aichi Prefecture. At the event, members of the Muslim community tried to debunk stereotypes associated with Muslims in the media by further exploring the history of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (saw).
“Our objective is to show people what, in fact, the true message of Islam really is, what the true message of Prophet Muhammad was,” Imam Anees Ahmad Nadeem said. “As Japanese citizens,we are loyal to our country, we are loyal to our fellow citizens. We have that love and that peaceful expectation within ourselves that the holy founder of Islam actually expected of us.”
”If a Muslim pray five daily prayers,if a Muslim recites the Holy Quran if a Muslim is aware of the Life of Prophet Muhamamd(saw) then a Muslim can not be a terrorist or extremist . Because true Islamic teachings guides us to peace and satisfaction.”
He spoke about the relation between Muslims and non Muslims in Japan and said:
“I think these kind of events are important for Japanese people ,because Muslims and non-Muslims need to find peace and harmony to live with each other,”
He stated that status of women in Islam is misunderstood
“Islamic teachings are natural and comprehensive . If women do not have the right to do certain tasks, it is not because they are incapable, or that their rights are threatened, but it is only God Almighty has divided tasks between Men and women. Some roles are best suited to men and other women.”
He further said:
A mother has s significant role in society. She guarantees the future of our nation.Islam has a great respect for mothers, wives, daughters and sisters.
