The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK is pleased to announce that its National Peace Symposium will be held on Saturday 14 March, 2015. The theme of this year’s symposium is Religion, Freedom and Peace. Held at the largest mosque in Western Europe, the event promotes a deeper understanding of Islam and other faiths and seeks to inspire a concerted effort for lasting peace. More than 800 guests attend the unique event including Secretaries of State, parliamentarians, diplomats, faith and civic leaders as well as representatives from numerous charities and faith communities.

His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifah (Spiritual Leader) of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will be gracing the occasion and will deliver the keynote address.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Prize for the Advancement of Peace was launched in 2009 by the Spiritual Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad and the award comprises a trophy together with a certificate and a monetary prize.

The 2013 Ahmadiyya Muslim Prize for the Advancement of Peace, was awarded to Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow founder and Chief Executive of Mary’s Meals. The latest Peace Prize winner will be announced at the symposium.

7.40pm Keynote Address – by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad
