Namelee I am very disappointed because of your comments and they way you have challenge to respectale Karen Armstrong and you do not have the decency to respect the difference of opinion, The Islam is the Religion and very peaceful Religion, what the Terrorist or doing has nothing to do with The Islam, the base of the Islam is the Holy Quran قرآن مجید and the Sunnah of the حضرت محمد ﷺ or Hadith حدیث See the whole life span of the Holy Prophet of Islam, what atrocities had not been committed against the Holy Prophet and his dear and جان نثار صحابہ companions, and he was humiliated by infidels of Makkah, by Jews and Hypocrites of Madinah, can you cote a single instance where the Holy Prophet Mohammad SAW has taken revenge for any blasphemy committed against him on the other hand we see that those blasphemer received, but Mercy from him. Only a very few war criminals were punished even among them who accepted Islam were pardoned by him. On the conquer of Makkah amnesty was announced for all and on very soft conditions. So you should learn to differentiate between Islam and Muslim, of course there are good and bad Muslims or Muslims in Name as they claim so or they are born in some Muslims home, like good and bad people in all the Religion of the world so Muslims have no exception to this Rule, These extremist Muslims have their own ex to grind and their own Agenda and vested interest, they are misguided and derailed people and knowingly or unknowingly they might be the Agent of the enemies of Islam, their Misdeeds must not be ascribed to Islam at all.
I think you are a christen, now let me analyse the History of this very Religion.
How soft were the teachings of the Holy Jesus Christ saying if someone slap you on right turn left also towards him, if someone take you a mile go with him two miles or even more…., but how would you justify the periods of inquisitions and wars among Christens and when the Christen people burnt alive to even Christen people and when people were forced to accept Christianity or they got to die. Can we blame all to Holy Jesus Christ or to Christianity??? Catholic and protestants are still enemy to one another, Hitler, believably, he was Christen how his party genocide Jews in Germany? Can you take all this blame on Christianity???
