Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders has issued a statement that he will deliver the keynote address at the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest being held on May 3rd, in Garland, Texas. The Art Exhibit is being put on by Pamela Geller’s American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI). It will be put on at the same facility in Garland as the Honor the Prophet Conference that was held by a pro-Islamic group in January.

Meanwhile, a carnival in Germany canceled plans for a Charlie Hebdo float. A cartoon museum in Belgium canceled plans for a Charlie Hebdo tribute. An art museum in Paris removed an artwork from exhibit after Muslim threats.

And there are many Muslim groups who are engaged in demonstrations; both violent and peaceful; and wish not to perpetuate activities which hurt sentiments of 1.5 billion residents of our planet and that is not a big philosophy to understand.

Remember hate brings hate and love and tolerance perpetuates the same.

If we wish to build a society where tolerance and love prevails we have to build it on foundational stones of respect, understanding and tolerance rather giving air to hate crimes against major majority of our world.

Violent demonstrations by Muslims in many parts of world and killing of three innocent Muslims in USA and another in Fort Mcmurry Canada is a reminder as to what such hate mongering can result in.The Major majority of Muslims condemn both and stand with peace building individuals of this world.

It is time to understand and not perpetuate hate mongering activities in the name of various titles and agendas. This applies to all; Muslims or not Muslims!
