The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, delivered his weekly Friday Sermon at the Baitul Futuh Mosque on 23 January 2015.

His Holiness quoted many examples from the life of the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) highlighting the unparalleled respect and honour that he held for the Holy Prophet of Islamsa.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad cited an incident that took place between the Promised Messiahas and Pandit Lekhram ̶ a famous Hindu who regularly used foul language against the Holy Prophet of Islamsa.

His Holiness narrated that once Pandit Lekhram approached the Promised Messiahas at a train station and offered greetings of ‘salam’, however the Promised Messiah did not respond.

His companions thought perhaps he had not heard Lehkram and so they drew the attention of the Promised Messiahas to which he responded by asking: How could he accept the greetings of a person who had insulted and abused His Master the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)?
