The hostage taker is reported to be a ‘self-styled Sheikh’ who is known to the police because of several ‘sexual assault cases’ including a case of possible ‘murder of ex-wife’. How a person like that can give a bad name to the beautiful religion of Islam! – All non-Muslims now expect us to ‘distance ourselves from this guy’. Well, of course we have nothing in common with him – as do all other people who have not murdered an ex-wife nor have any pending charges of sex assaults… (crazy world indeed).
