Mérida, Yucatán from the 16th floor of Hyatt

By the sheer Grace and Mercy of Allah, and a lot of prayers, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has now established a Mission House in Merida, Mexico in the State of Yucatan.

Merida  is about 300 Kms southwest of Cancun.  “Since arriving here,” Waseem A. Sayed, the leader of the Ahmadiyya team says, “We have become aware of Ahmadis living in various parts of Mexico.”

He expresses optimism that soon they will be able to establish contact with many of them.  Sayed says that they are there to serve the local communities and also to show them that Islam is a religion of peace and of brotherly love.
