“Best” according to Holy Prophet (saw) – 64 Hadith

The best of gatherings are those that are most open.” Abu Daud
“The best of all charity is that you give it while you are healthy and desirous (of that money), hoping to become wealthy but fearing poverty. Don’t delay until you are about to breathe your last and then you say, ‘This is for ‘so and so’ and this is for ‘so and so’’, for indeed, it has already been written that ‘so and so’ would receive that.” Abu Daud
The best of you are those whose shoulders are soft in prayer Abu Daud
The clothing which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) liked best was shirt Abu Daud
The best things with which grey hair are changed are henna and katam Abu Daud
The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked: which is the best action? He replied: To stand in prayer for a long time Abu Daud
The best time for a man to go in to his family on return from a journey is at the beginning of the night Abu Daud
The best fighting (jihad) in the path of Allah is (to speak) a word of justice to an oppressive ruler. Abu Daud
The best sadaqah is that which leaves a competence ; and begin with those for whom you are responsible Abu Daud
“The best of people in recitation are those who when they recite, you see that they fear Allah.” Baihaqi
“The best among you are the best in character” Bukhari
Narrated ‘Aisha: The Prophet was asked, “What deeds are loved most by Allah?” He said, “The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few.” He added, ‘Don’t take upon yourselves, except the deeds which are within your ability.” Bukhari
“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” Bukhari
The best charity is that which is practiced by a wealthy person. And start giving first to your dependents Bukhari
Narrated `Aisha: I used to perfume Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) with the best scent available till I saw the shine of the scent on his head and shine beard. Bukhari
The Prophet (ﷺ) was the best, the bravest and the most generous of all the people. Once when the people of Medina got frightened, the Prophet (ﷺ) rode a horse and went ahead of them and said, “We found this horse very fast.” Bukhari
A man asked the Prophet, “What Islamic traits are the best?” The Prophet said, “Feed the people, and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know.” Bukhari
“The best of which man can leave behind for himself are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, an ongoing charity whose reward continues to reach him and knowledge which others benefit from after him.” Ibn Hibban
“The best charity is to provide water.” Ibn Majah
“The best of you – or among the best of you – are those who pay off their debts in the best manner.” Ibn Majah
“Shall I not tell you of the best of you?” They said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “The best of you are those who, when they are seen, Allah the Mighty, the Majestic, is remembered.” Ibn Majah
The best of your provision is what you earn, and your children are part of what you earn Ibn Majah
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “I was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and a man from among the Ansar came to him and greeted the Prophet (ﷺ) with Salam. Then he said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is best?’ He said: ‘He who has the best manners among them.’ He said: ‘Which of them is wisest?’ He said: ‘The one who remembers death the most and is best in preparing for it. Those are the wisest.’” Ibn Majah
Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent Ibn Majah
Adhere to righteousness even though you will not be able to do all acts of virtue. Know that the best of your deeds is Salat (prayer) and that no one maintains his ablution except a believer Ibn Majah
“The best of the Muslims is he from whose hand and tongue the Muslims are safe.” Muslim
“The best of the prayer lines for men are the first rows, the worst being the final rows. The best of the prayer lines for women are the final rows and the worst are the first rows.” Muslim
“The most beloved words according to Allah the Most High are four: Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar; there is no problem with which one you start with.” Muslim
“The most beloved of speech according to Allah is when the servant says, ‘Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi’ Muslim
“The best prayer after the obligatory ones is the prayer in the depth of the night, and the best fast after the month of Ramadhan is the month of Allah, Muharram.” Muslim
“The best prayer is that with the longest standing.” Muslim
“Shall I not tell you about a deed with which Allah will expiate your sins and raise your status?” They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “Performing ablution when it is difficult.” Muslim
The best rows for men are the first rows, and the worst ones the last ones, and the best rows for women are the last ones and the worst ones for them are the first ones. Muslim
” The best Salat is that in which Qiyam (the duration of standing) is longer.” Muslim
The best of’ the deeds or deed is the (observance of) prayer at its proper time and kindness to the parents Muslim 
The best of condiments or condiment is vinegar. Muslim 
With Allah the best fasting is that of David and the best prayer is that of David (peace be upon him) for he slept half of the night and stood for prayer for the third of it and (then) slept the sixth part of it and he observed fast one day and broke on the other. Muslim
Masruq reported: We went to Abdullah b. ‘Amr when Mu’dwiya came to Kufa, and he made a mention of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and said: He was never immoderate in his talk and he never reviled others. Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) also said: The best amongst you are those who are best in morals Muslim
“The best of perfume is musk.” Nasa’i 
The best fasting after the month of Ramadan is the month of Allah, Al-Muharram, and the best prayer is prayer at night Nasa’i 
You should wear white garments; dress your living ones in them, and shroud your dead in them, for they are among the best of your garments Nasa’i 
he best of charity is that which is given when you are self-sufficient, and start with those for whom you are responsible Nasa’i 
It was narrated from Abu Umamah that he asked the Messenger of Allah: “Which deed is best?” he said: “Take to fasting, for there is nothing equal to it.” Nasa’i 
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] was asked: “Which deed is best?” “He said: Faith in Allah [SWT] and His messenger Nasa’i 
The best things with which you can change gray hair are Henna and Katam Nasa’i 
It was narrated from ‘Abudullah bin Hubshi Al-Khath ‘ami that the Prophet was asked: “Which deed is best?” He said: “Faith in which there is no doubt, Jihad in which there is no stealing of the spoils of war, and Hjijatun Mabrurah.”[1] It was said: “Which prayer is best? He said:”That in which there is ling Qunut (standing).” It was said: “Which charity is best?” He said: “The poor’s night.” It was said: “Which Hijrah (emigration) is best?” He said: “One who shuns (Hahara) that which Allah has forbidden.” It was said: “One who strives against the idolaters with his life and his wealth. “It was said: “Which death is best?” He said: “One who sheds his blood while his horse’s feet are cut with swords.” Nasa’i
The Prophet [SAW] was asked: “Which deed is best?” He said: “Faith in which there is no doubt, Jihad in which there is no Ghulul, and Hajjatun Mabrur.” Nasa’i 
“The most beloved of people according to Allah is he who brings most benefit, and the most beloved of deeds according to Allah the Mighty, the Magnificent, is that you bring happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieve him of distress, or pay off his debt or stave away hunger from him. It is more beloved to me that I walk with my brother Muslim in his time of need than I stay secluded in the mosque for a month. Whoever holds back his anger, Allah will cover his faults and whoever suppresses his fury while being able to execute it, Allah will fill his heart with satisfaction on the Day of Standing. Whoever walks with his brother Muslim in need until he establishes that for him, Allah will establish his feet firmly on the day when all feet shall slip. Indeed, bad character ruins deeds just as vinegar ruins honey.” Tabarani
“On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood” Tirmidhi 
“The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best of you to my family.” Tirmidhi 
“The best of people are those who live longest and excel in their deeds, whereas the worst of people are those who live longest and corrupt their deeds.” Tirmidhi 
“The best of you is he from whom good is anticipated and safety from his evil is assured; the worst of you is he from whom nothing good is expected and one is not safe from his evil.” Tirmidhi 
“Verily, the best of perfume for men is that which is strong in smell and light in colour, and the best of perfume for women is that which is strong in colour and light in smell.” Tirmidhi 
“The best of companions according to Allah are those who are best to their companion and the best of neighbours according to Allah are those that are best to their neighbour.” Tirmidhi 
“The best of all deeds is the Prayer at its earliest time.” Tirmidhi 
“The best word of remembrance is: La ilaha illallah and the best supplication is: Al-hamdu lillah.” Tirmidhi 
“The companion who is the best to Allah is the one who is best to his companion. And the neighbor that is the best to Allah is the one that is best to his neighbor.” Tirmidhi 
All the sons of Adam are sinners, but the best of sinners are those who repent often.” Tirmidhi 
When one of you shrouds his brother, then let him use the best of his shrouds Tirmidhi 
“Ask Allah of His Bounty. For verily, Allah the Mighty and Sublime, loves to be asked, and the best of worship is awaiting relief. Tirmidhi 
Shall I not inform you of the best of you from your worst?'” He said: “They became silent, so he said that three times, then a man said: ‘Of course, O Messenger of Allah! Inform us of the best among us from our worst.’ He said: ‘The best of you is the one whose goodness is hoped for, and people are safe from his evil. And the worst of you is he whose goodness is not hoped for, and people are not safe from his evil Tirmidhi
Shall l not inform you of the best of witnesses? The one who comes with his testimony before being asked for it. Tirmidhi 
Abdullah bin Busr narrated that a Bedouin said: “O Messenger of Allah! Who is the best of the people?” He said: “He whose life is long and his deeds are good.” Tirmidhi 
Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Out of all garments Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) liked Qamees the best. Tirmidhi
